The National Center for Sports Safety ("NCSS"), located at www.SportsSafety.org and www.SportsSafety.net, is the sole owner of the information it gathers on its site. Sportsafety.com (also available at Sportsafety.net) will only share your information with outside parties in ways that are described in this Privacy Policy or if we are required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law, cooperate with law enforcement agencies, or comply with a legal process served on our Web site.

What information is collected and how it is used?

NCSS collects information from those site visitors requesting information about services, courses and materials available from NCSS. In order to respond to such requests, NCSS will collect the name of the individual, organization or sports club, address, phone number, facsimile number and e-mail address. The information collected will be used only to provide the requested information and to follow-up on the receipt of such information. NCSS will not share information collected, nor will NCSS obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information.

Third Party Service Providers

NCSS contracts with a third party to assist in managing certain functions on our Web site, such as design development, design changes, and assistance with web management.

NCSS only provides third party service providers with the information necessary to carry out the service. Third party service providers are prohibited from using the information received from NCSS for purposes other than those dictated by NCSS.

To access and update User Information you may send an e-mail to NCSS@sportssafety.org. Reasonable access to personally identifiable information will be provided. If for some reason access is denied, NCSS will provide an explanation as to why access has been denied.

Security

Protecting your privacy and your information is a top priority at NCSS. We have taken careful measures to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of your information. Once we receive your information that was entered into our Web site, it is stored behind a firewall. All NCSS employees are aware of our Privacy Policy and Security Policies. Your information is only accessible to those employees that need it to perform their jobs.
