There is little or no funding available for a coaching program like PREPARE?
PREPARE is offered at a low cost of $28 per participant. Whether or not your child's league has money to fund this sports safety education course, as a PASS member, you will gain access to materials and tips on how to secure a sponsorship to fund PREPARE in your community.
There is no real benefit of PASS membership?
As a PASS member, not only do you receive tangible items that are outward symbols of your commitment to sports safety education, but more importantly, you have the ability to directly impact the safety of your child and every child in your community.
PREPARE is only designed for coaches?
PREPARE was created for youth volunteer coaches, however the information is relevant to individuals in any sport at every level. In fact, the course covers information that is relevant to everyone on and off the playing field.
I can't become a PASS member, because I do not have a child playing sports.
PASS is a network of coaches, volunteers, teachers and parents. Membership is extended to anyone who has an interest in protecting our youth by providing them with a safe, healthy environment.
