Our Mission

The mission of the Parent Ambassadors for Sports Safety (PASS) is to empower its members by providing information needed to understand and communicate the necessity of sports safety and to motivate local leaders and administrators involved in youth sports to adopt sports safety education.

Our Goals

In order to fulfill the PASS mission, the NCSS and PASS members must work together to ensure that our program goals are met. Together, we will work to:

  • Promote the necessity of sports safety to youth sport organizations, coaches, recreation & park facilities and local and state leaders within local communities
  • Advocate that youth coaches and volunteers be educated in sports safety
  • Encourage decision makers in local communities to require sports safety education for all involved in youth sports
  • Equip members with the necessary tools to secure funding for sports safety education in their communities by providing sponsorship kits
  • Pledge accountability for higher standards in youth sports within their local communities

The Reality of Sports Safety Education

Did you know that the best way to prevent an emergency situation is to be prepared? Rather than reacting to a situation, be proactive by equipping yourself and others in your community with knowledge on how to handle various emergency and non-emergency situations.

Obtaining A Sponsorship

Often times, youth leagues depend solely upon donations, players' fees and sponsorships to fund their programs. As a PASS member, you will have access to tips and tools to get these much needed funds for your child's athletic program.
